News Production of Goeldner compressors by ABC Food Machinery

The open-type Goeldner-Compressors for ammonia (NH3) continue to be successfully produced by ABC Food Machinery spol. s r.o..

In addition to the smallest NH3 compressor on market, the Goeldner O 12 series, ABC manufactures NH3 extraction stations in small series.

However, large composite liquid cooling units up to 1MW are also manufactured for large slaughterhouses, cold stores, bakeries, etc.

HKT Huber-Kältetechnik GmbH stops production of compressors

Effective from Dec. 31st 2019 HKT will stop to produce it’s semi-hermetic Goeldner-Compressors, after now 32 years. HKT will further on attend to its business in the fields of supplying spare parts as well as repairing the Goeldner-Compressors. Of course all warranty deeds of the compressors supplied till this day will be observed.

Unfortunately the small series production of the semi-hermetic Goeldner-Compressors is not to present fairly anymore. Better said the price for the products is not to be realise at that time.

Based on this the shareholders of HKT have decided, like said above, to stop production of the piston compressors in semi-hermetic and open design. Separate from individual reuest.

If not done personally the management wants to thank all Goeldner-Semi-Hermetic-Compressor clients for the more than 30 years co-operation by this way.

Gold medalfor efficiency: Goeldner-NH3-Compressor for ice-rink refrigeration

The HKT partner company, ABC FOOD Machinery s.r.o., from Bratislava, was announced by the Slovak Association for Cooling an Air Conditioning Technology (SZ CHKT) for the Gold medal. Subject is the most efficient ice rink of Slovak Republic of the last 30 years. The installation (2 racks) is each equipped with 4 pcs Goeldner-Compressors (Pic.1), type O 54 3/NH3. The ice rink was built in 2017 following the Twineco®-Principle. Product information zur Chillventa 2018 – R290 (Propane) Compressors

HKT Goeldner-Compressors for hydro-carbon refrigerants, especially propane (R290) are successful in operation since more than 20 years. With the modified models the application range was widened again. This works without any losses neither efficiency nor safety in operation.

The semi-hermetic compressor models with on-board inverter called Goeldner-Motion-Range are predestinated for an optimum capacity adjustment through stepless speed control. Through this a high partial load- and also very good system efficiency will be achieved.

The optimized adaption to the variable cooling requirement reduces the energy consumption and will seriously bring down the costs.

Goeldner-Motion-Compressors and –Units are successfully operating at supermarkets, hotels, gastronomy,as well in food production, food treatment and much more. They are suitable for refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pumps

The capacity control of Goeldner-Motion-Compressor could be managed through an external set value  (e.g. 0-10V or 4-20mA) or dependent on evaporation pressure by the also on-board mounted pressure transmitter. Even at the standard programming a second an third parallel compressor can be activated.

Product information zur Chillventa 2018 – ”R723”-Compressors and -Chillers

NH3- and R723-applications are an emphasis of the open type Goeldner-Compressors.

Beside pure ammonia R723, a mixture made of the natural refrigerants ammonia and dimethyl ether, is one of the most efficient refrigerants easily applicable at present.

The open type 2- and 4-cylinder Goeldner-Compressor series, in a spectrum of  6…95 m3/h stroke volume are given free and available for ammonia (NH3) since 1993 and for R723 since 1998.

In 2000 HKT realized the first R723-chiller for production cooling at the family owned facility.This means having best experience on that topic for two decades in a capacity range from 8kW to 400kW..

On Chillventa 2018 HKT will show a 2-stage R723 chiller unit being able to serve the freezing area (t0 -30°C) as well at the same time the normal cooling area (t0 -10°C) with this natural refrigerant and also use heat recovery
